Bread Salad
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1 loaf white sandwich bread -- trimmed
6 hard-boiled eggs -- chopped
3 green onions -- chopped
2 cans shrimp -- drained
1 can crab meat -- drained
3 cups mayonnaise
Butter bread lightly on both sides; cut into cubes. Mix with eggs and green onions. Chill, covered, overnight. Add shrimp, crab meat and mayonnaise. Let stand for 3 to 4 hours.
