Creamy Strawberry Punch

1 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries, thawed

1/2 gallon strawberry ice cream, softened

2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled

Fresh strawberries, optional

Process frozen strawberries through blender. Combine all ingredients, chunks of ice cream and ginger ale in punch bowl. Stir and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
