• 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 2, 8 oz packages cream cheese
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 large can chopped mushrooms, drained & diced
• 4 packages chipped beef, diced
• 1 cup parmesan cheese
• Club Crackers for dipping
Method:
Saute diced onions in melted butter until tender. Add softened cream
cheese in chucks; stir until melted and blended. Gradually stir in
milk until smooth. Stir in diced mushrooms, chipped beef, and parmesan
cheese until blended and warm. If the creamy sauce seems a bit too
thick, add small amounts of milk until you reach the desired
consistency. Serve with "Club" crackers for dipping!
Notes:
This recipe is a hit at all my parties! It's easy to make and keeps
well in the refrigerator so you can make it the day before if you
would like...just re-heat and serve!
