1 to 1 1/4 lbs. green, red or blue black seedless grapes
6 oz. semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 t. shortening
Wash and dry grapes well. Put on paper towels lined tray. Chill. Divide into clusters or 2 to 3 grapes per cluster.
Melt chocolate and shortening in top of double boiler over simmering water. Holing clusters by the stem, dip
into chocolate to coat half of each grape. Put in bon bon cups and refrigerate until chocolate hardens. Remove
from refrigerator 15 minutes before serving. Makes about 50 grape cluster. Hint: Recipe can be halved. If a
harder chocolate coating is desired, add 1 oz. of grated paraffin and melt with chocolate.
