Mother Goose Popcorn

 

2 cups sugar

1 cup milk

1 tsp. vanilla

red food coloring....or any color you want

Big pan of popcorn 2 to 4 quarts

 

 

cook all ingredients, except vanilla and coloring, on med high heat to soft ball stage (242 degrees)   When it reaches soft ball stage take off heat add vanilla and coloring and pour over popcorn, stirring until it has cooled.  It will seperate as it cools.  Store in ziplock bag or tight sealed container
