Gingerale Pound Cake
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3-1/2 cups flour
1 can gingerale soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Cream butter and shortening.
Mix together sugar, eggs, flour,
gingerale, vanilla and lemon juice.
Combine all ingredients well.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook
in middle of oven for 1-1/2 hours,
or until done.
