Whipped Cream Angel Food Cake
2 cups sifted cake flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup whipping cream
3 egg whites
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar 3 times.
Whip cream until stiff. Beat egg whites until stiff.
Combine very carefully. Add water and vanilla.
Gradually fold in dry ingredients.
Bake in layers (2 9-inch cake pans, greased and floured, or angel food cake pan) in moderate oven (350
F.) until done, about 30 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream and your choice of berries.
