Apple and Cheese Bread


  2 Cups Flour

  1 Tablespoon Baking Powder

  1/2 Teaspoon Salt

  1/2 cup Sugar

  2 Eggs -- slightly beaten

  1/2 Cup Oil

  1 1/2 Cups Finely Chopped Apples

  1/2 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

 

Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients

and add all at once to flour mixture. Stir only until flour is all moistened.

Batter will be thick and lumpy. Spoon into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for

1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. If top of loaf gets too brown,

cover with foil during last 15 minutes of baking.
