"CREATE YOUR OWN" SMOOTHIE
1/2 Cup yogurt (plain or flavored)
1/2 cup fruit juice such as orange, pineapple-orange, may use
concentrate
plus water or milk)
2-3 portions "anything" (see "Anything" list) 3-6 ice cubes
1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional - or to taste) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
(optional)
ANYTHING List - Choose 2 or 3 (or more) Fruit is best if frozen, but
fresh
or canned is fine:
3 whole strawberries
1/2 peach or nectarine, peeled and chunked 1/2 banana, peeled and sliced
(Freeze ripe bananas for use...sprinkle with lemon juice or lemonade as a preservative) 1/4 cup pineapple
1/4 cup blueberries
2 apricots, halved Combine ingredients in a blender. Process on high speed until smooth and
frothy, at least one minute. Makes one large or 2-3 small servings. Be
creative and enjoy!
