Frostie Nectarine Smoothie
2 fresh nectarines, quartered
1 1/2 cups diced cantaloupe
1 cup lowfat plain yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
10 ice cubes
4 fresh nectarine slices, optional garnish
In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients except ice and sliced nectarines.
Blend until smooth. Gradually add ice. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Garnish with nectarine slices, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
Tip: For a thinner consistency, fill glasses half full with sparkling mineral water before adding puree.
