Japanese Salad Dressing

Japanese salad dressing 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons sesame oil 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon grated ginger 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, optional Combine all ingredients in a container with a tight-fitting lid. Shake to dissolve sugar. Taste and correct seasoning. This dressing is also good for marinating vegetables such as green beans, asparagus or broccoli (cook them first 1 minute or 2 to soften them, then drain well and pat dry). Makes about 1/2 cup.
