Bayou Popcorn Spice
3 T. paprika
1 T. garlic powder
2 t. onion powder
1 1/2 t. ground red pepper
1 t. dried thyme
1 t. dried oregano leaves
1 t. brown sugar
1 t. ground black pepper
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
Microwave popcorn to give
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients until well blended. Store in an airtight container. Give with popcorn and serving instructions. Makes about 7 T. mix. To serve, Microwave a 3 1/2 oz. bag of microwave popcorn according to pkg. directs. Open bag carefully to avoid steam. Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 t. seasoning mix, or more to taste, over popcorn. Hold top of bag closed and shake until popcorn is coated.
