1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion chopped
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) pizza sauce
1 1/2 t. dried basil or oregano
1/4 t. garlic powder
2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
breadsticks, or cubes of French bread
Cook beef and onion; drain. Stir in pizza sauce,
basil and garlic powder; mix well. Reduce heat to
low. Add cheeses; stir until melted. Transfer to a
crock pot or fondue pot and keep warm on low.
Serve with breadsticks or cubes. Makes 5 cups.
