Roast Leg of Lamb
1 (6 lb) leg of lamb
1/3 cup honey
6 T soy sauce, divided
Trim fat off lamb and place on rack in shallow pan. Brush with honey and pour water into pan to depth of 3/4-inch. Bake lamb at 450 degrees for 30 minutes and then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Pour half soy sauce over lamb and roast for 3 1/2 hours longer or 35 minutes per pound. Baste lamb every 30 minutes with remaining soy sauce or pan drippings.
