Never-Fail Fudge

2/3 cup evaporated skim milk
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups Hershey's lower fat chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Pinch of salt

Combine the evaporated milk with sugar in a medium saucepan and heat
to boiling. Cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until the
marshmallows are melted. Pour into a greased 8- or 9-inch square pan.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Makes 64 (1-inch) squares.
